FORUM AND ALLIANCE RULES

Here are the Rules of this message board. Read them please before you start posting around:

1. Offensiveness, Flaming and Trolling
Being offensive towards other members of this message board is strictly forbidden.

* vulgar, profane, or sexually explicit language not allowed
* using race, religion, sexual orientation, culture, ethnicity, handicap, nationality, or gender as a means of insult not allowed
* threatening, harassing, defamatory, hate-speech, or libelous language not allowed

Flaming other members of this message board directly is not allowed.
examples:

* name-calling ("You're an idiot", "You moron")
* direct insults ("Screw you")
* offensive orders ("Kill yourself")
* insinuations ("Are you stupid or something?") or insults towards family ("Your mom...")

Intentionally annoying and/or provoking other members of this message board is not allowed.

* provoking other members to make them respond with flaming
* asking obviously useless questions
* posting obviously false information as a fact

2. Spamming/Advertising
Clearly advertising a service or product for commercial purposes is not allowed.
examples:

* commercial or personal web site advertisements
* for-sale/for-trade/for-auction/wanted notices
* chain letters, and pyramid schemes

It is allowed for users to put links into their signatures (but only there), to forward members to websites/forums.

3. Off-topic Posting
Going off-topic in a thread is limited but allowed. However bringing a thread completely off-topic is not allowed.

4. Distruptive posting
Posts that distrupt the board for other users is not allowed.
examples:

* post content or topic/post title that forces the board to scroll horizontally
* blank or content-free posts
* bumping old or "dead" topics without a reasonable cause

Posting multiple distruptive posts and/or topics is considered "board flooding/invading" and whoever does it, he/she will be banned on sight with all of his/her accounts (if there are more).

5. Impersonating
Impersonating other members of the message board is strictly forbidden. Accounts that were clearly created for impersonating current users of the message board will be banned on sight.

6. Post content
Posts containing descriptions or details about any sexual act or sexual organs; links to or material from pornographic, obscene, or hate-speech web sites are not allowed. Posts that violate or incite others to violate the law are not allowed. Such illegal activities like asking or providing in any way

* illegal copies of copyrighted material (software, music, videos, etc...)
* methods of circumventing copyright protection

Those who violate the rules of this message board will receive warnings in form of PMs from designated Moderators or Adminstrators. In extreme cases of violations, banishment will be issued by any Moderator or Administrator.

Be advised that Administrators may ban any user without a single warning and/or reason. Also the Administrators' decisions in such and other cases may be questioned constructively.
