Galaxy tool

BOM has sorted out the galaxy tool for us.

I just have to get a few details from him and i will post the link to get it.

This is a very useful tool and once it has been up dated it will be fully functional.

I will inform you all once it has been completed.

Before we start doing this make sure you have Mozilla Firefox Browser, if not download it.

First thing you need to do is go here http://www.thecohorts.org/37/galaxytool/

register your account

You need to wait for me to verify your account which shouldn't take long if i haven't fallen a sleep.

Next you need to go here http://en.wiki.galaxytool.eu/index.php/Download.

click downloads on the side bar

download the Mozilla Firefox Extension - Galaxyplugin xpi file

it says open with....

or save to disk

choose open with

browse, go to your program files

find the mozilla folder

select firefox.exe as the program to open it with

install now?

Then it will ask you to restart Firefox, do that.

Once Firefox restarts open the Ogame home page, right click your mouse scroll down to galaxttool plugin, GTP options. Click that and Galaxyplugin options box opens

Next you have 4 boxes to fill in

Ogame Servername, enter - http://uni37.ogame.org

Galaxytool URL, enter - http://www.thecohorts.org/37/galaxytool/secret/galaxyplugin.php

Then enter your user name and password that you used to register for the tool

go to the plugin options tab at the top of the page


you should have 4 boxes checked


Show Status Window

Submit Galaxyview

Submit player and alliance statistics

submit reports

thats all that needs to be clicked on.

click ok


restart firefox, log into ogame 37

go to galaxy view

should be a status box on your screen

with a green light or a red light in it?

if its green its working

that means every SS you look at is being updated to the server

same with spy reports, they will be uploaded as well


you dont have to do anything from here on out, other than look around.


I had a bit of trouble at first but BOM walked me through it. If you need help give me a knock on MSN or pm me and ill get to you as quickly as possible.

What i do need people to do is scan as many of your neighbouring systems as possible. The more you scan the more systems we have in the tool.

How do we view what is on the galaxy tool server?

i.e. I have shared my home system... how can I view it?

go http://www.thecohorts.org/37/galaxytool/
login, once your account has been acctivated.
Then if you are just looking to see your home system, on the left frame click view galaxy. then type in your home system, or any other system you would like to look at.

I don't think my espoiange reports are not going to the galaxy tool, once I have it setup is there anything special that I need to do?

ya when you need to open the messages after probing,
right click >> galaxytool plugin >> read spy reports from page

or in the plugin options you can check 'submit reports automatically', which will send the reports whenever you open messages

I'm registered for galaxytool already as Negreanu for another uni. Can you validate that name for uni 37?
